The floods during a stormy winter a few years ago brought tons of debris and logs down a small tributary creek of the upper Skykomish River. I painted this entirely on location outdoors.

The quaint fishing village of Portofino, Italy is a very magical and romantic place to visit. The water was so clear I could see fish swimming under the boats.

Silver Falls is one of my favorite falls and situated in Mt. Rainier National Park. It has a naturally occurring "S" curve composition. Glacier and snow fed water gives it an unusually clear Blue-Green color.

Spring brings the bloom of the wild Thimble Berry flower in the temperate rain forests of the Pacific Northwest.
